| Navigating an Audit Plan
Responding to an audit plan is easy with the EHS Auditor Audit Frame. Below is an example of an audit plan ready for interactive facility assessment.
The auditor simply selects the area of concern that they wish to use for the audit and the checklist appears. The auditor can navigate anywhere in the checklist, however we highly recommend that the auditor answer the checklist in sequence. Based on the answer to an Audit Question EHS Auditor can select the appropriate questions for the facility. This feature is often found in the US Federal Environmental Criteria for handling exceptions to the rules. For example a question is
Is the facility a small quantity generator (a generator of greater than 100 kg but less than 1000 kg in a calendar month)?
If this question is answered "Yes" then EHS Auditor will select the audit questions that are relevant to the small quantity generator and mark the questions with requirements for large quantity generators as non applicable. Likewise with an answer of "No", large quantity generators only answer questions relevant to them. The skipped questions are only marked N/A, thus they are still available for inspection within the audit plan. Also, if the answer of a decision question such as this one is changed then the Non Applicable answered questions based on the decision question are returned. Thus depending on the facility being audited many of the questions in an area of concern such as the "Requirements for Generators", which has over 350 questions, will be automatically answered based on the previous question's replies.
