| EHS Auditor Criteria
You can easily add your own audit checklist template to EHS Auditor that you can use again and again to assess your facilities. However, the true power of EHS Auditor is the library of pre-built, fully referenced, regional regulatory checklists that you can use in your facility audits with or without your corporate checklist. Our dedicated team of professionals has analyzed thousands of pages of legislation to select the industry requirements for compliance. They then translate the industry requirements into audit compliance questions while referencing the appropriate sections of the legislation as well as assembling the schedules, diagrams, legal definitions and appendices that could be needed as reference material to answer the audit question. For Canadian facilities, these audit questions and reference material that we call audit criteria is categorized into "Areas of Concern" such as "Air Emissions". "Hazardous Material Storage", etc. For US facilities the areas of concern are the section titles from the Federal Title 40 (Environment), 29 (OHSA) and parts of 49 (DOT with regards to transportation of Hazardous Waste) CFRs. The criteria database is continuously updated by Conformance Check and is not associated to any location until you use it in an audit plan. Thus, it is easy to build custom audit plans combining your checklist and the regulatory EHS areas of concern for your facility. Our criteria has been reviewed and tested in our consultant's own practice.
Conformance Check recognizes that there is a difference in the structure of Canadian and US Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety legislations. EHS Auditor adapts to handle both regulatory structures. Please select the demonstration path that best suits the location of your facilities. The EHS Auditor system is flexible and has been used with other jurisdictions around the world. Please contact us to see if we have criteria for your jurisdiction. The Canadian demonstration is the more generic for jurisdictions outside of the US.
