To respond to an audit simply choose a question from the list.

EHS AUDITOR for Windows allows you to answer questions, add recommendations and add reference documents. By systematically answering each of the audit questions the auditor will determine the compliance status of the facility.

The question response window has been designed to ensure that all responses are properly referenced, including supporting documentation images, text, and the name of the respondent. EHS AUDITOR for Windows keeps a running total of all questions unanswered or with a non-compliance response.

Responding to an Audit Question

To ensure all responses are documented EHS AUDITOR allows you to:

1. Select the appropriate multiple choice response
2. Clarify the requirements by reviewing the actual referenced section
3. Type a detailed text response indicating the source of the compliance response
4. Enter the name of the respondent to ensure accountability

The "Detail Response" tab displays the response to the audit question, other tabs in the "findings" component store optional information that support the finding and can be used in a post audit analysis.
Findings Information Tabs:
Attributes: Entry of other properties of the finding such as the deficient Management System component for Root Cause analysis.
Recommendations: Entry of auditor's recommendations and corrective action plans.
Supporting Documents: Storage and index of working papers, documents, spreadsheets, images and other electronic materials that were used to support findings in this audit plan. All the pictures that were taken during the audit and documents created by Microsoft Office Products can be stored and displayed here with the audit plan.

Audit References

Support documentation (i.e. definitions, schedules or figures) which are attached to the criteria areas can be displayed while answering the audit to allow further clarification of the question.
